This home was built in 1880, and converted to an upper and lower apartment in 1925. When we purchased the building in 2011, its condition was solid, but was functionally severely outdated. We fully renovated the first floor unit in 2011, and repaired the second floor unit, although its full renovation wouldn't come until 2022. Renovations included brand-new kitchens with all new cabinetry, appliances, and more practical layouts, as well as all new bathrooms. All carpeting was removed for either restored or new gleaming hardwood flooring, drop ceilings were removed, and stylish new lighting fixtures were introduced.
