Centertown Social will be a brewery-style bar and restaurant with a large gaming area, upper mezzanine level, a rooftop deck, and an outdoor stage area to anchor this new and exciting community gathering space!
Installation of floor-to-ceiling windows are currently underway across the facade, in addition to large overhead doors that will allow for easy flow between the indoor and outdoor areas of the restaurant next to the Clemens Square Stage. The main entrance will be near the east end of the building, with the bar area to your right and general seating to your left. The general seating consists of several large booths, a VIP lounge area, a two-sided fireplace, and ample tables near the center and up on the mezzanine level, which sits above the state-of-the-art-kitchen, and overlooks the much of the restaurant. Continuing beyond the seating is the large gaming area, which will feature two golf simulators, darts, billiards, as well as various arcade games. Other finishes will include wall art from local artists, and custom outdoor lighting for night events.
Our culinary team and management team are in place and excited about the experience and creative inspiration they will bring to the new indoor and outdoor food, drink, and entertainment options in the Square!

Mandeville and his family, designed by local architects Pierce & Bickford. The nearly 6,000 square foot, three-story home features numerous ornate fireplaces, tilework, woodwork, and large windows. Years ago when we purchased this historic home, it was already long vacant and in disrepair. Numerous structural and systemic issues plagued the building, and other compounding factors caused delays to its restoration.
But the building isn't doomed! The porches were stabilized in 2022, and over the last few months have been completely rebuilt, stronger than ever! Much of the original porch railings and spindles have been saved, and will be reinstalled in the next construction phase, in addition to reinstalling replica crown molding and dentil work around the tops of the porches.
Around the remainder of the building, the decrepit Yankee gutter system has been eliminated, with ice and water shields installed to prevent further deterioration until a new roof is installed in the spring, in a material made to look like the original slate roof. Nearly 40% of the clapboard siding around the building has been replaced, as well as new fascia and soffits. The entirety of the house was given two coats of exterior primer to preserve it until next year's painting season, when we will unveil its new color scheme!
The interior of the building still requires lots of work, but will soon house apartments that retain their beautiful historic interiors, while adding the luxuries of 21st century amenities! We will be announcing more about this exciting project in the near future, in addition to our numerous projects downtown.
